The committed people who volunteer to undertake the key roles of age group coaches and assistants do so on the understanding that they have the responsibility of ensuring that all those donning the Salisbury RFC shirt are being given the best possible opportunity to attain their potential and perform to the highest level whilst representing their club and potentially as county or country representatives.

This site will keep all our coaches up to date with the latest news covering up to date thinking for all our age-groups, course information and any other relevant topics to ensure that we maintain the very highest standards for all Salisbury's Rugby Players.

At Salisbury we take the role of the Coach very seriously. Not only because of the importance in developing our rugby players and in turn supporting the broader game, but also because our coaches are responsible for the safety and welfare of all players under their charge.

The club's philosophy is a simple one. "We want to create an environment which guarantees that the girls and boys who play rugby at Salisbury RFC enjoy their time at our club and achieve their potential". We believe the most effective way to ensure this is to have the best possible coaches and assistants in place.

We are, in support of our coaches and their assistants, continually developing our CPD program to ensure that they and their assistants have a formalized and structured pathway to ensure their skills match the requirements of their age group players.

My job as Club Coaching Coordinator (CCC) is to support and facilitate the development of our coaches so as to ensure players of all ages get the best possible opportunity to maximize their potential while playing and training in a challenging but enjoyable environment. To me there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a player develop to achieve their potential or witnessing a team you have coached achieve success.

My aim is to ensure that the Club's identified aims and objectives are met. Would you like to take up the challenge of helping me?

If you would please contact me by email at Mick Brown (CCC)
