Salisbury started 2024 with a trip to London Irish Wild Geese on Saturday and, despite a 27 – 14 loss, performed strongly in their first ever visit to Sunbury-on-Thames.

Saturday 16th. December: Salisbury United, the club's second string, welcomed Melksham to Castle Road and the 1st XV travelled to Tottonians.
A sizable home crowd received some early Christmas cheer as they witnessed Salisbury secure a much needed, but last minute, 21 – 19 home win over Guildford on Saturday.
A depleted Salisbury XV travelled to Farnham on Saturday to complete the first half of the Regional 2 South Central fixtures schedule. They struggled to contain the hosts throughout the match and finished on the receiving end of a 67 – 7 defeat.
Salisbury welcomed old friends and Dorset & Wiltshire rivals, Wimborne to Castle Road on Saturday. Both teams sit in the bottom third of Regional 2 South Central. It was therefore, reasonable to have expected a closely contested match but it was Wimborne who established early dominance with a converted try on four minutes on their way to a 15 – 38 away win.
