Salisbury Walking Rugby Festival 2019
Salisbury RFC hosted the largest Walking Rugby Festival to date on Sunday 14th . Eleven sides competed for the Pat Clash Trophy and the Originals Plate.
A total of 44 games were played resulting in Cardiff Barbarians winning the Pat Clash Trophy and Topsham RFC winning the Originals Plate. Salisbury Zimmers were runners up in the plate competition Played 4, Won 3 Lost 1 missing out on winning the Plate on try count back! Salisbury Strollers Played 4 Won 1, Drew 2 Lost 1.
It was great to see Pat Clash present the Trophy created in his name. Many thanks to Nicola Rawnson, Hon Chairman, for presenting the the Plate and medals, Vinnie and Neil for excellent hospitality, and the referees Pete and John for their support.
Next games: Topsham Festival Sunday 18th August, National Vintage Games at Bath 1st September, Newest RFC Festival 22nd September.
