This Woman Runs - a new initiative at the Club
News of an incredible new initiative in collaboration with This Woman Runs (TWR) and the RFU. Our club has been selected as just one of 6 new running groups and they need your help to make it a success!
About This Woman Runs (TWR):
This Woman Runs is a community dedicated to connecting and empowering women through running. Their mission is to create supportive, fun, and inclusive spaces where women can build confidence, fitness, and friendships. More info can be found by visiting their website - www.thiswomanruns.com
What They Need:
As part of the Impact '25 programme they are looking for women from our local community to join them as Volunteer Community Leaders and Run Angels.
As a Community Leader, you will help organise and lead weekly group runs, ensuring a welcoming and encouraging environment for all participants both online in the group's digital community and in-person at the free weekly group runs.
As a Run Angel, you will take turns in leading free weekly group runs providing support and motivation whilst helping to create a positive running experience for all and supporting the Community Leader.
How to Get Involved:
If you are passionate about empowering women and love running, they would love to hear from you! No prior experience is necessary – just a commitment to helping women connect and be active.

Training and support will be provided to all volunteers through an online learning platform and digital cohort supported by their Communities Manager.
