Good to See the Old Boys getting together
Some former minis and a well known Salisbury Schools and RFC figure met up on Coronation Day
Cadan Murley rounded off a fantastic season this weekend when playing his 100th game for Harlequins against another Salisbury legend, Mike Brown.
Earlier in the week Cadan was awarded the Supporters', Players' and Men's Player of the Year Awards. Obviously his trophy cabinet had enough room for the Harlequins Club to recognise the achievement of his 100th game, presenting him with a framed shirt. And to round it all off he scored his 15th try of the season to seal the Premiership's top try scorer slot. Not a bad week !
Opposite him in Leicester colours was another Salisbury mini and junior player, the evergreen Mike Brown. From being out of contract earlier in the season Mike has shown his undoubted skills, commitment and bravery in the Tigers colours. On present form he is going to be playing for some time to come.
Propping them both up (?!?!?) was Pat Griffey, who taught both Mike and Cadan during his time at Wyvern College and now Bishop Wordsworth School. A lovely photo of 3 deserving gentlemen.
