Convincing Win for Salisbury U14s
On what started out as a mild Sunday morning the game kicked off at a fair pace, with both sides looking dangerous, but Salisbury came through with a smart run from the Outside Centre to score the first try.
With Salisbury dominating play, 2 further try’s followed from the No 8 with darting and powerful surges into Lytchett’s 22.
Lytchett were determined to prevent a clean sheet for Salisbury and hit back with a well-constructed team effort pushing hard over the try line.
Before the halftime whistle, Salisbury hit back again, taking advantage of the sloping pitch with 2 further try’s from the Second Row and No 10.
Restarting after a short break, the weather turned and both teams were exposed to a stiff wind and piercing rain. However, Salisbury continued the momentum with another try from the Second Row and another from the No. 8.
Although the scores dried up, there was a lot to be proud of as both teams continued to drive through in the worsening conditions and did not give up.
