Colts enjoy Zoom-time with Tom de Glanville, Bath RFC
The Colts enjoyed a great night via Zoom, with Bath player Tom de Glanville. A really interactive Question and Answer session enabled the SRFC boys to get to know Tom, and understand how a Bath player has to commit himself.
The SRFC Colts are excited at the prospect of returning to rugby training on 1 April. To keep up going then - and with HUGE thanks to Julia Doig - the Colts had a boost on Friday 26 February from Bath player, Tom De Glanville. Tom joined the squad on zoom for a Question and Answer session and it was delight for us to get to know him. Our Colts players did not disappoint and after an introduction by Tom, proceedings got underway with Bertie firing off the first question. Everyone had their chance, and the questions ranged from how Tom copes with losing a big game, how he prepares mentally for a match, who's the hardest forward in the premiership he'd prefer to steer clear of on the pitch! Plus more about Bath's performance and Tom's hopes for the World Cup in 2023. The boys surpassed themselves in their attitude to the event and the forethought that had gone into their questions was clear to see. We really appreciate this opportunity and thank Tom Page, Community Lead at Bath for organising this for the squad.
