The weekend of 2nd-3rd April was a busy one for all sections of the club, with the senior 1st and 2nd XVs recording wins and great success for the under-15s.

Jason Yarwood, our Director of Youth Rugby, has been working with Mark Lerpiniere and our local schools to give more girls and boys the chance to try rugby and join Salisbury RFC.

Salisbury 49-0 Combe Down - 20th. November 2021
Salisbury’s visitors Combe Down are regarded as Britain’s oldest village rugby side and are celebrating their 125th year in existence this season. Although the home side were pleased to welcome them to their Castle Road ground they were less charitable on the pitch running in eight unanswered tries over the course of an extended eighty minutes.
Salisbury Rugby Club hosted three Dorset & Wiltshire Cup matches at Castle Road on Sunday 14th. November. The matches were scheduled to allow the whole club to stand silently for two minutes at 1100hrs, led by an U14 squad member’s moving rendition of the Last Post.
6th. November 2021 - Salisbury travelled to Avonvale, Bath's oldest Rugby club, for the first time and maintained their recent winning run with a bonus point victory. The game also marked prop Gareth Blackborow’s 300th 1st XV appearance, an amazing achievement in the current era, and is a testimony to his loyalty and intensive training regime.
