Join the Salisbury Rugby Cycle Sportive

An exciting cycle event for every level of cyclist, to support Project All Change.

On 15 July 2017, the club, along with former SRFC player Jim Bellinger, are holding a cycle sportive. Jim is an experienced route manager, having organised many large events, including ‘Ride the Trafalgar Way’ a cycling challenge between Falmouth and London. #RidingRugby is a chance for you to enjoy a great, local ride and help raise money for project ALL CHANGE.

 #RidingRugby offers two rides; Spartiate (60 miles) and Sovereign (93 miles). There will be a ceremonial start at the club, before riding down to Bishop Wordsworth School for the official start. The rides are open to all, so please pass this email and the attached poster, onto anyone you feel may be interested.

The entry fee per rider is £25.00, on the basis that the rider will commit to being sponsored for project ALL CHANGE (£100 target).

How to pay and register:

Step 1 - payment

Pay over the bar at the club or

Pay online at https://mydonate.bt.com/charities/salisburyrugbyfootballclub via the donate button or

Pay cash or cheque (payable to: Salisbury RFC) to either myself or Chris Whalley.

When paying, you will be asked for your email address. You will then receive a confirmation email from me, issuing your unique SRFC discount code and SRFC ALL CHANGE sponsorship form.

Step 2 – register online

Once you have your discount code, visit http://ridethetrafalgarway.com/events to register for either Spartiate or Sovereign. Your discount code will take the payment on the website down to nil.

Step 3 – Find sponsors!

The event is open to all, so should friends or family wish to enjoy the ride but not be sponsored, they can register with Ride the Trafalgar Way and simply pay the listed price as outlined on http://ridethetrafalgarway.com/events.
